AWARDS & ACHIEVEMENTS

Due to the determination amongst the management and employees within the company, Suryamitra was and is able to achieve many remarkable awards. These are few among many of our achievements:

• Awarded as the 2nd best stall for the value added product display at the International Seafood Fair 2007 in Cochin.
• Displayed its stall at the Dubai Seafood Fair as a joint venture with the Itochu Corporation, Japan in 2006.
• Published in a magazine called "Seafood International," UK explaining our scope with value-added products in the future.
• Published an article in "The Wall Street Journal," USA about value-added products and our achievements within that field.
• Published in a Japanese newspaper about processing of value-added shrimp, like Nobashi.
• The Managing director has been awarded an "Honorary Doctorate" by Westbrook University, Texas for his astounding service to the field of fisheries and seafood exports in 2009.
• Secured the position as the 1st best stall in food and retail, using our domestic brand,  Aquadiet, INFISH -2010 organized by the National Fisheries Development Board of Hyderabad.
• The Managing Director, Dr.Irrinki Surya Rao, was honored with the Shiromani Award by the Citizens Integration Peace Society in Delhi on August 22, 2010.
